Care & Safety Instructions

You’ll find general care tips and guides for specific products below, with downloadable instructions available for each. Your safety is our top priority, so with all of our products please observe sensible precautions to prevent a fire hazard:

      • Never leave a burning candle unattended
      • Always burn candles out of the reach of children and pets
      • Always leave at least a 10cm gap between burning candles and allow sufficient headroom above the candle
      • Never place a candle in a draught
      • Always place candles on a suitable flat and heat resistant surface to prevent damage to furnishings
      • Never place a candle on or near anything that could catch fire
      • Keep the wax pool clear of debris
      • Never move a candle when it is lit or while the wax is still liquid
      • Never allow the flame to touch the inside of the container
      • Never touch the container while the candle is lit, always allow to cool before touching
      • Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time
      • If the wick is larger than 5mm trim before using
      • Extinguish candles with a candle snuffer – never blow a candle out and never use water to extinguish a candle
      • Discontinue use of the candle when there is 5mm of wax remaining
